Unlike in the past where it would take one 14 days to get a CDS account ready after making an application, the process now takes 2-5 days, and one can do it at the comfort of their phone or a computer with internet connection.

This is all made possible with DhowCSD, a new product from the central bank of Kenya. When you have a CDS account, you can start investing in government treasury bills and bonds.

In this video tutorial, I will take you through the process of applying for a CDS account now called CSD with dhowCSD online.
