  • How to Renew Driving License in In Kenya in 2023 Online

    Since I did the video on how to renew a driving license in Kenya online a year ago, NTSA has upgraded their system and they have introduced new requirements on the process of applying for the renewal of driving license in Kenya.

    To get started, login to your ecitizen account and click on apply for a driving license.

    Login to Ecitizen and click on Apply for a Driving License

    You will be taken to your NTSA self service portal. On the user dashboard here, click renew. 

    On NTSA portal, click on Renew

    Under renewal type, select, virtual driving license one year. 

    Enter your place of birth, blood group, country and county of residence, and enter your physical address. 

    This is mandatory for your application to be processed. 

    On the next window, upload a passport photo of yourself and click on next. 

    Check on the box here to declare that it is you who has provided all the information as required in regard to the application and click renew. 

    You will be taken to the payment gateway to pay Ksh. 650 for renewal. Make the payment. 

    Once your payment is confirmed, you will be redirected to this page to download your electronic driving license.

    On this post tutorial, I am going to show you How to Apply for Government Tenders in Kenya Online.

    In order to apply for government tenders online in Kenya, you need the following;

    1. Tender Negotiation Number
    2. An IFMIS Active Account

    Getting Tender Negotiation Number

    To get tender negotiation number, go to www.tenders.go.ke .

    On the top menu, click on tenders. On the dropdown, select ‘active tenders.’

    Skim through active tenders there within your category and click view. On the new window click on view again. This will open a preview of the tender.

    Look for one with a negotiation number. Most of the government institutions and county government tenders have a negotiation number.

    As for this example, I have found one from the county government with a negotiation number.

    Download, fill the tender and put together all the documents needed as attachment in one folder ready to submit. 

    Tender Submission On IFMIS

    You need an IFMIS account to file your tender. If you don’t have one already, you can sign up on the portal www.supplier.treasury.go.ke

    Fill in the required details to sign up.

    Once done, login to your account to submit your Tender application. This is where the negotiation number you picked earlier in the tender document will come into play.

    On the right side of the page, you will see menu and below it there is a folder named sourcing supplier.

    Click on it to open the dropdown. Under the sourcing folder click on sourcing homepage.

    You will be taken to this page here. On top you can see number then a box to the left as you can see below.

    Paste the negotiation number on the box and click on go. You will be take to this page here where you will see the tender. Click on the number again to open.

    From here you can complete the tender document and submit. And that is it. If you have any question and need help, click on help link here. This will take you to a page with contact of the support team.

    In this tutorial you are going to learn How To Link a domain e-mail address to your phone via C-panel .

    If you are here, it means you are struggling to connect a custom e-mail you created associated with a website domain address. That is what I am going to show you how to.

    To get started, first, login to your website hosting c-panel and click on e-mails accounts.

    On your cPanel click on e-mail accounts.

    Under e-mail accounts to the far right, click on connect to device.

    Select connect devices.

    Here is where you will find the information you need to connect to your phone under mail client manual settings.

    Have in handy your login password ready for the next steps on your phone. On your android phone, open gmail.

    Open Gmail on your phone.

    If you are on a different interface, open the e-mail app. Click on the gmail profile icon on your top left to open this drop-down menu here.

    Tap on the profile icon on your Gmail account.

    Tap on add another account.

    Tap on add another account.

    On the new screen select other.

    Select other.

    On the next screen type in the -mail address and click on next.

    Enter your email address.

    Select personal (IMAP) and enter your e-mail password then tap on next.

    On the server incoming settings, go back to the cPanel window and locate the settings. Enter here.

    On the server outgoing settings, enter the SMTP server settings found on the cPanel here again. Normally the URL for this is similar. Tap on next.

    Choose sync frequency and tab on next. Your account will be fully setup once this process is done unless you have entered the wrong password.

    Enter your name on the last screen and tap on next. Your account is setup and ready to sync.

    You can read and reply to any e-mail you receive on your phone.

    And that is it, you have successfully linked your custom e-mail associated with your domain to your phone via the website host c-panel.

    On the first box on top here enter your ID number and the second box here, enter your year of birth.

    Check the box here to confirm you are not a robot then click on check now. Wait for your details to load.

    Check the Captcha Box and click on check now.

    If you are a registered voter, your details will be displayed. If no details is shown, it means you are not a registered voter.
